Coloring Easter Eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Farley's house. The kids enjoyed this annual tradition and mom enjoyed it 'cuz there were so many helpers that she didn't have to sit there and color five dozen eggs, yeah!!!

March 2007.

Liberty and Kayson have been having fun playing Woody and Bullseye. It's pretty funny 'cuz Kayson is so tall that he has to walk his feet along as Liberty crawls. What a pair of goofballs!

Here is Brylee's tooth picture that grammy has been requesting. Brylee got her two bottom teeth and then that top one on the left came and just didn't quite match up. Since this picture she now has another matching tooth on the upper right. She looks like Goofy!

Well, somebody is enjoying my gardening efforts! The other night while i was weeding in my flower beds, i got to watch this humming bird moth enjoy a little treat before bed. I thought it was a hummingbird, but then realized it had too many parts to be a bird, so we looked it up and found out that it was a moth. It still flutters it's wings very quickly and hovers over the flowers like a hummingbird and is very pretty so it was a lot of fun to see.

We bought winnie the pooh and mickey mouse kites today. It was a great day to try them out. The kids loved it. I didn't think Brylee would understand or have much fun with it. But, she giggled and yelled up to the kites the whole time. She even had a few turns herself at flying the kite. Liberty was able to do it herself pretyy well and kayson did pretty good with a little instruction from dad.

Brylee's 1st Birthday. She started the day off enjoying some yummy birthday cake batter. Then grammy and grampy came for dinner-the kids had fun playing with grammy in their rooms. Next everyone we had aunts and unlces and friends come for cake and gift opening. Brylee had fun with all of the gifts, but had to fight for a look at them since her sibblings were eager to open them for her and then play with them for her (so nice). She also enjoyed her cake and icecream, but insisted on eating it with a spoon-so prim and proper! She finished the day off with a nice soak in the tub (to get all of the icecream and cake out of her hair).

Codi participated in the iron chef competition her Young Singles Adult Branch held. Here is her creation, two layers of brownie with a whole carton of icecream in between. The brownie's had carmel and walnuts in them. And then to finish making it pretty she shaved chocolate from a candybar into curls and placed them on top. It was so yummy! We got the leftovers when she got home.

We were digging up our parking spot so that we could dump more gravel in there in preperation for a new parking pad. Bad idea! The dirt was still too wet so the tractor's were sinking. They ended up putting it all back and then said they would have to come back after it dried out. What a mess!

March 8, 2007?

Our first day out on the trampoline this year! The kids were so excited. If you look closely you will see we were still trying to melt off the snow on this side of the house though, brrrr. At least the temperature was feeling pleasant.

March 4th, 2007.

We went shopping for new spring dresses yesterday. Kayson doesn't have his spring clothes yet but he wanted to be in the picture anyway. We will be getting him a pink tie (he says it is his favorite color) and maybe some black slacks and then we'll get a picture of him.

We had a fun filled Valentine's Day this year. I meant to bring my camera along to all of the fun, but of course didn't remember until the day was winding down. We started off the day with a Mom and kids breakfast at McDonalds where the kids enjoyed the play place. Then Mom helped the kids pick out some balloons for Dad. They had fun delivering them to his work. Next Dad treated everyone to Pizza for lunch at Papa Kelsey's. You can't go wrong with Pizza and our kids. Then we had a "romantic" dinner for seven. Complete with frosted wine glasses, cloth napkins, and flower petals. We wrapped the day up with homemade Valentine's from Mom for everyone. (This is a tradition my mom started that I wanted to pass on, but this is the first year that i actully got them to turn out well.) All in all it was a busy, but fun day. Too bad it had to end with the flu. Kade and I had a "great" evening cleaning up flu mess after flu mess of Brylee's. But, hey when you can make it through that on your Valentine's evening and still call it a good one, you know your relationship must be made of something pretty good!

We went to Twin Falls for the day to see Gavin get blessed. It was fun to see Gillian and her family again and Tressie was there too! I couldn't resist getting a picture of the boys they just looked so cute all dressed up for the occasion.

January 2007.
With mom in so much pain for the first week or two of the month, she was kind of out-of-it and kept forgetting to get Brylee down for her morning nap so she fell asleep more than once in her high chair at lunch time. Poor girl. But, it still makes for a cute picture.

December 29, 2006

This picture tells the story of a months worth of pain! I had 3 teeth prepped for crowns and then had my wisdom teeth out, so i had major sensitivity because of the 3 and infection in one of the wisdom teeth. What a pain. I was on three different drugs for part of the time and ice packs and heat packs for almost a month striaght. But yay! it's done and now i don't have to dread having it done anymore!

December 25, 2006
All of the kids are showing off their new Christmas outfifts. Liberty especially cracks me up, she always comes up with her own poses and struts her stuff like a runway model. I'm not exactly sure where she gets it but it is pretty funny.

December 25, 2006

Kayson has loved trains ever since riding one at Disneyland, so this was probably his favorite gift. He has already enjoyed a lot of play time with it.

December 25, 2006
Brylee warmed up to her presents later in the day, but it was all just a little too much for her early Christmas morning.

December 25, 2006

What a girlie girl, Liberty loves getting new clothes to wear. She was pretty excited about Christmas this year, and her enthusiasm made it fun for everyone else too.

December 25, 2006
Kayson was very intense about opening presents. He made sure every little piece of wrapping paper made it in the garbage pile before moving on to the next one and he was just so intent on what he was doing. It was pretty entertaining to watch.

December 24, 2006

Brylee was getting a little sneak peak at the gifts Santa brought. (She wouldn't go to sleep, I guess since she can't talk Santa let her see his secrets!) We couldn't keep her off of them. She definately liked them better wrapped though.

December 12, 2006.

We threw snowballs at Brylee from outside. She thought this was hilarious. She giggled every time another clump of snow hit the window.

December 12, 2006.

We took advantage of the good wet snow we just got and made a nice snowman today. We got to use the new snowman accessories we got from Aunt Gillian for Christmas. The kids love the snow, I'm amazed at how long they can stand to play in it. I always thought little kids came running back in after 5 min. too cold to play anymore, but not these two. They stay out for a good half hour and sometimes i have to drag them in!

December 12, 2006.

Snow Angels. Need I say more?

December 11, 2006.
Brylee's favorite pastime of late has been playing the piano. We found that her highchair fits just right at the piano, so we strap her in-scoot her up-and away she goes. She's even started to sing along.

November 24, 2006.
For Thanksgiving we went to Boise.
We got to see Gillian and Seth's new
house it is really cute. We also got to
have the whole family together, something
that hasn't happened in a very long time!
It was a little crazy, but a lot of fun.

October 31, 2006.

Halloween!!! A much anticipated night, Liberty was ready to wear beatiful makeup and be a BEATUTIFUL witch, Kayson was beyond excited about being mickey mouse and Brylee put up with being Roo. The kids were able to dress up twice once to go trick-or-treating at the nursing home on Monday night and once to go trunk-or-treating and visiting on Tuesday night. What a fun time of year!

October 23, 2006
We decided to paint pumpkins this year. The kids thought it was a blast. They each got their own to decorate and were quite creative. I guess we have a bunch of budding artists!
